Torah Day School's students have been delighted to explore the Scholastic Book Fair. After a several year break, it's finally back and students are through the moon to browse and buy books and reading accessories! It's a great way to support TDSA's library and PTA while growing our student's love of learning!

What could be more fun than a quiz? How about a quiz that is also a scavenger hunt! The boys were spilt into teams, had to find all 120 Rashi and Gemara words spread out in the field and then translate the words for Rabbi Oratz. The boys had a great time and were able to show how well they understand the Hebrew and Aramaic words they've been learning all year.

Mrs. Kaplan's 5th grade ELA students flexed their evidence gathering skills with an engrossing Mystery Readers Theater. The students used context clues in the texts to gather evidence to solve the mystery. This skills is critical to writing about literature as students need to gather evidence to support the points they make in their essays.

This year's Middle School Mother-Daughter Melave Malka, was a toast of gratitude to mothers and all they do for us. With fun Mother-Daughter Minute-to-Win-It competitions, sweet memories, a heartfelt note from mothers to daughters and the girls' amazing presentations, the mothers were able to feel how appreciative our middle school girls are of all they do. Everyone had a fantastic time connecting and socializing. Congratulations to our eighth grade girls for putting on this fabulous event!

The TDSA PTA invites all TDSA families to join them for their Fall Festival on November 23rd!

TDSA will be holding its open house for incoming Kindergarten and First Grade students on Sunday, November 23rd!

Mrs. Storch’s 6th grade class has been working on their ANTs! The girls are learning the process of recognizing Annoying Negative Thoughts (ANTs) that enter their minds and how to control them to shift their mindset and outlook. The girls earned a party from all the amazing work they’ve accomplished in this area and had a build your own açaí bowl party to celebrate!

TSDA is excited to invite grandparents and valued guests to Generations Day on Monday, December 15, 2025!

On Tuesday, in honor of Veterans Day, TDSA welcomed Lt. Col. Michael Bram, a retired Air Force Chaplain and the husband of our Middle School Social Studies Teacher, to our school. Lt Col. Bram spoke to the eighth graders and kindergarten students about his experiences as a Chaplain in the Air Force. He brought in pictures and the students were able to hear about the many things he did to help other Jews in the armed forces. It was a valuable learning experience for all involved!
