In Ivrit, the Middle School Girls learned all about the life of Israeli Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion. They worked together to construct a timeline of his life and learned fun triva about him.

In Middle School Advisory last week, the students put Chesed into practice by completing small acts of kindness including reading to the younger grades, cleaning the grounds, making decorations for Chanukah and putting fun positive sticky notes around the halls.

The Kindergarteners learned all syllables. They learned that every word can be broken into smaller syllables and used the hand clapping technique to figure out how many syllables a word has together with Morah Mindy.

The girls in 1G learned all about the Hebrew vocabulary to describe our body and made a life-sized model of their bodies to practice it. They discussed how they can use each part of their body to help others and serve Hashem!

In STEAM fourth grade boys learned all about how energy is stored and demonstrated that by storing energy in a rubber band and using it to send a propellor spinning across a zipline.

7th and 8th grade demonstrated surface tension in action by dripping a droplet of water on various items and seeing how the water droplet interacted with them.

This past Motze Shabbos, the Middle School Girls and their mothers got together in the TDSA gym for a fun and uplifting event complete with food, games, challenges and performances.

In STEAM the first grade boys challenged themselves to make a paper turkey stand on its own using only paper, turkey templates and pipe cleaners.

The Kindergarten students learned all about the American holiday of thanksgiving and explored what they are thankful for. They then added the things they're thankful for to their Thankful Turkeys.
