HISTORY
Torah Day School is proud of its growth since it was founded in 1985 with an enrollment of approximately 19 students, a staff of four teachers, a principal, and a cadre of pioneering and insightful volunteers, lay, and community leaders. Today it is a home away from home, to approximately 350 students. Its growth can be attributed to it staying true to its mission and its high academic standards. In 2008, TDSA was recognized as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education. It is also accredited by SAIS/SACS (Southern Association of Independent Schools/Southern Association of Colleges and Schools), AAAIS (Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools), Cognia, and GISA (Georgia Independent School Association).
