DIRECTION

The Torah is our guide.

A Morah or Moreh - the Hebrew words for Teacher - is someone who ‘shows’ the way. The root of the word is the same as the root of the word Torah - ירה. The Torah itself is called so because it is בדרך אנשים מורה  - shows people the way. Our morim and morot model living a life of Torah and how to navigate this life and the world.

To live a Torah life students need basic skills like reading, writing, math, taking care of oneself, and communicating respectfully. These basics help them forge their own paths academically, spiritually, and socially so they can grow into contributing family and community members and citizens of the world.
