It was a packed first day as our middle school students got oriented to their new schedules and locations! Both the boys and the girls started off the day with a welcome breakfast with their teachers, got in some learning, and then finished off the day with a fun teambuilding activity!

On Sunday Night TDSA opened its doors to our New Parents! For some of our new parents, the New Parent Orientation was their first time experiencing what Torah Day School has to offer. For others, it was a trip down memory lane, as they attended TDSA themselves when they were kids! The parents enjoyed getting to know each other and learning more about what to expect for their children this coming year! We can't wait to greet students-new and old on Tuesday and Wednesday when school starts!

New pencils? New notebook? New parking lot! The parking lots and driveways at TDSA have gotten a brand new update just in time for the school year! Crews have been hard at work repaving the TDSA campus and even some of our administrators and staff got in on the action! When students arrive on the first day it will be to a smooth and shiny new road!

Back to school spirit is in the air and nowhere is that more evident than here at Torah Day School! Teachers and administrators are hard at work setting up classrooms and running meetings in preparation for the new school year. We can't wait for our students to join us soon!

Mazal Tov to Kitah K on their Graduation to 1st grade! It's been a year of learning and development! Our wonderful Kindergarten students now know the Alef-Bais and how to read! They know math and are parsha experts! They've completed amazing projects, put on a stunning Chanukah performance, had a wedding for Q and U, welcomed parents and grandparents to their class and so much more! We are so proud of how much they've grown!!

The students in 3G built their confidence and deepened their understanding of area and perimeter through peer-to-peer teaching.

The second grade girls put on a beautiful performance for their mothers and grandmothers about Shemona Esray and what it means to them. It was an inspiring and moving way to introduce this new aspect of Tefillah for the girls!

Torah Day School of Atlanta's 8th grade boys and girls concluded their in-depth study of the Holocaust with an exhibit at last night's Chessed Continuum. Framed through the poem The Butterfly by Pavel Friedman, the exhibit traced the path of the Jews through the Ghettos to the Concentration camps. Along the way, they highlighted the personal stories of young teens who experienced and survived the Holocaust and the Chessed they encountered along the way that made their survival possible.

On Tuesday Night, TDSA hosted their Chessed Continuum. TDSA's gym and surrounding hallways were transformed into a living, experiential timeline demonstrating all the ways Chessed has shaped Jewish History.
The Chessed Continuum concluded with a beautiful series of exhibits demonstrating the real lived Chessed that Jewish communities in Atlanta Israel, and around the world perform every day.
