Kitah Bais's Shorashim (root word) cards are a riot of color! For every card the students make, the girls in Morah Cohen's class have been decorating the cards with pictures, colors and creative mnemonic devices. Shorashim are very important to our students' understanding of Hebrew and Chumash. Every Hebrew verb is made up of a root word or Shorash. The girls have found that by decorating their own cards and coming up with the pictures themselves they can practice the meanings of the words and know them better!
