Having guests was incredibly important to Avraham Avinu! After his Bris Milah (Circumcision), even though he wasn't feeling great, he was so sad without guests that Hashem sent him three angels to host. Well, our Kitah K students are working on emulating our forefathers and were thrilled to welcome guests of their own to TDSA! The students welcomed their parents, and uncles. They invited their grandparents and even older and younger siblings. The students worked so hard to make their guests welcome. They offered them comfy seats and food, and most importantly they offered them a good time. After short words of welcome, the students and their guests did a number of fun projects. They made pretty necklaces, both out of beads and yummy fruit loops. They made sculptures from modeling clay, beautiful scratch art and drew wonderful pictures. After getting a chance to do every activity, the students led their guests back to their seats and entertained them with songs, and the story of the Parsha, which the guests themselves acted out. Thank you so much to the Mommies and Daddies who performed the Parsha for the students. Everyone had a wonderful time, and TDSA can't wait for the next time our guests can come visit!
