MSG Kicks off Big Sister - Little Sister event with inspiration from Rabbi Eliyahu Schusterman

To mark the first day back after Sukkos Break Rabbi Eliyahu Schusterman, a TDSA parent and the Rabbi of Chabad Intown, came to speak to our Middle School Girls. He focused on Rochel Imeinu who's Yartzeit is this month.  He discussed the nature of her scarifice and the power and value, in the eyes of Hashem, of being selfless and helping our "sisters." This idea led directly into the planned Big Sister-Little Sister Breakout. Much to the sixth and seventh grade students' surprise, the eighth graders grabbed balloons hidden in the back of the room and raced outside. The girls had to catch the eighth-graders and pop their balloons, revealing the location of a sweet surprise signaling that the Big Sister-Little Sister Program had begun.
