Getting Gravity

Hands-on learning always makes concepts more understandable. The third grade students got very hands-on with gravity this week. They tested gravity by dropping balls of different weights to see if the weight of an object affected its gravity. They also tested the heights of the drop and considered how the weightlessness of space can impact the rate that objects  fall. Make sure to ask your third graders all about gravity! You'll be surprised at how much they know!
