Shiluach Ha-Kan is such a special mitzvah and this week our Kitah K students learned all about it. First, Morah Dena introduced the students to the mitzvah using a small model bird. They learned how important the mitzvah is and that you have to send a mommy bird away if you are going to take away the egg. The Kitah K boys and girls had a fun time making their own nests with birds in them.
