Last week in advisory, the middle school students put Chesed into practice. Since the beginning of the year, the Middle School students have been exploring what Chesed means. This past week, after a quick game of Taboo, the students rotated through several small acts of kindness. These included reading to our kindergarten and first grade students, cleaning up common areas from trash, leaving positive sticky notes around the halls for other students to find, writing letters to residents at Bermans commons, creating Chanukah decorations for the school and decorating fun bookmarks for students taking out books from our library. Everyone had a great time creating cascades of kindness throughout our school.
