Middle school students had their first Advisory sessions this week. The students were split into small groups that included children from every middle school grade. Each Advisory group met with their teacher for sweet and fun “getting to know you” activities where they picked candies to answer personal questions, tried to guess which statements about their teachers were true or false, and made their own “true or false” games about themselves. Advisory this year centers on the themes of Kindness and Teamwork because in order to be an effective team, you need to be kind to one another. We can’t wait to see how these themes play out in Advisory over the coming weeks.
